The Tool Rest is designed for spoons, tongs, forks knives and Spatulas that are currently in use. Set your tool down in between stirring, scraping flipping, turning or tasting.

Each Tool Rest is hand made in Nara from Yoshino Hinoki and finished with rice oil

Details
This product is made with Yoshino hinoki. Wood is a natural product which means no two pieces are alike. Each item carries its own grain, and character.
As with all wood, some movement and warping may occur over time, particularly when exposed to changes in humidity or temperature.
Surface colour will shift and deepen with use; this is not a flaw but a natural patina, and one that makes your piece entirely your own.
When necessary, clean with warm soapy water and a soft cloth, then dry thoroughly. Avoid prolonged exposure to water or direct heat.
