Wether you live in a rented apartment or your forever family home, we could all use a little extra space. Made from solid hinoki by skilled crafts people in Shizuoka, the Island is a helpful extra surface and storage solution for your home. Despite the fine craftsmanship and use of only solid materials, the Island is flat pack, should you ever need to move or store the kitchen island at any point.

The Island is designed to work with the Helpful Items Storage Boxes which become drawers when introduced to the Island cubbies.

Island 2 has space for a maximum of 9 storage boxes:

This product is made with Yoshino hinoki. Wood is a natural product which means no two pieces are alike. Each item carries its own grain, and character.
As with all wood, some movement and warping may occur over time, particularly when exposed to changes in humidity or temperature.
Surface colour will shift and deepen with use; this is not a flaw but a natural patina, and one that makes your piece entirely your own.

When necessary, clean with warm soapy water and a soft cloth, then dry thoroughly. Avoid prolonged exposure to water or direct heat.
