On September 27th, I had the opportunity to speak at the "Kobe School" hosted by Felissimo Corporation.
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone at Felissimo who invited me, and to everyone who came to the venue.
In this lecture, while reflecting on the influences I received from my grandfather, Sir Terence Conran, and my parents,
I spoke about my belief that "design born from regional areas can enrich urban life."
At the Kobe School, the event progressed with an emphasis on the "on-the-spot interaction" unique to a dialogue format.
It was a valuable time for Felix himself to re-examine his activities and his approach to design through live conversations that cannot be fully conveyed through media.
Going forward, based in Higashiyoshino Village, Nara Prefecture, I will continue to meticulously work step by step to create "designs that connect the local to the world."
Finally, I once again express my deep gratitude to everyone at Felissimo Corporation for providing such a wonderful opportunity.
